Finally won a Kick 'N Go off Ebay
Bought off the original owner from
New Jersey, lots of miles but all in tact.
Disassembly took about 15 minutes to
remove every nut and bolt. From there
all the small parts were soaked in
de-greaser or solvent to clean them up.
Body Work! The 3 main parts of the
frame were sanded down, primed and
then sprayed with a bright red PPG
Acrylic paint.
Fortunately every part (including circlips)
was re-usable. The metal parts were
polished and then coated with a protectant
to prevent them from oxidizing. The
degreaser helped bleach the grips,
wheels and brake cable but the
stains could not be removed completely.
