It took months of looking to find a solid trunk model. On January 25, 2003 near Bellingham, Washington one was found in a trailer park sitting under some trees. A layer of dirt and moss had grown on the outside of the car and the Washington plates showed that it was last on the road in 2000. Despite the neglect the shell was solid. The car was imported into Canada on a flat deck and was brought to Burnaby, BC to be cleaned up. Weeks later it was back on a trailer to Hope, BC
Someone had swapped in a 73-74 EB1 Engine and the original '78 was MIA. The car actually had the 12 inch chrome rings on the wheels - an optional accessory.
